Yeah that's gonna be important for a lot of these names we're talking about. I do like that he would bring some personal clout to our biggest rivalry games. We know how he would handle that game day atmosphere.

Too many coaches that have come through here turn into a shell against Florida or Bama.

The Mullen/Freeze rivalry was fun in MS. Freeze would have us ready for that game. Would be awesome to see us play with confidence again in these kinda games.

I just want to see us in fun games again and compete. I have zero doubt he would get us back to that. From there? Who knows. But I believe we're fully capable of having a dominant program eventually if we get the right coach.

According to @Stoerner Fumbles , Plowman is not going to hire someone which could bring bad press to the university so that rules out Freeze and Chadwell.

The Chadwell stuff was minor and probably could have been prevented with a better compliance department, education, etc.

That's what you choose to believe. The same statements you just mentioned are reasons others believe different. Steele has a contract that is not binding to the head coach getting terminated. The investigation has been going on for 2 months. You read what you want into it and others read it different. I'm not saying your wrong but i don't see it the same way you do.

Therein lies the problem. He could be right. He could be wrong. Yet he is attacking others for having a different opinion.

You are right that Freeze will never coach for the Tennessee Volunteers, but Pruitt is a dead man walking...it is just a matter of when. Right now he is about halfway down the Orange mile and hoping for a last minute stay of execution...and he might very well get one because our leadership has proven to be dumber than a box of rocks for going on two decades now..but..sooner or later he is a goner.

Some were minor, some were not. Read up on it. 18 games were forfeited in years 2015/2016 for using multiple ineligible players. That is not minor.
