I will be absolutely floored and beyond irate if Bama and Saban, who just pulled off an undefeated season in the SEC and national championship, has the F'n audacity to come in a poach one of our players at a program that is currently is so much turmoil... Does Saban know Pruitt is getting fired and will hire him and let Toot know that he can be reunited with his gump at DC? Meh, if Toot leaves, I've lost a lot of respect for him... UT has tried everything: the splashy hire (Kiffin), the unqualified Saban protege (Dooley), the deceptively up-and-coming conference champ (Jones), and the hot-headed coordinator route (Pruitt). We haven’t really tried the NFL route (Kiffin and almost Schiano is as close as we got). So I say give it a go, I’d like to see them bring in Marrone (HC), Steele, Garner, Myslinski, and an OC from the Briles tree like Lebby, and put them in the day after Pruitt is gone with confidence like this was the first choice and they’d planned it all along.

He didn’t Jump into the riches of the corporate world that most would expect from a guy in his situation

We went to Mesa Verde NP and Anasazi Indian ruins Utah State Park in Boulder Utah on our trip last summer. We also saw some petroglyph panels in Capitol Reef and Arches NP.

I really love archeology and history myself, and if my life had taken a different path in my teenage years, those two things were what I wanted to study in college.

In 2021, it goes with the territory and will never turn back. The universities get to make 100's of millions of dollars and fans get to publicly critique the return on their investment.

Pruitt? Only time he’s been FIRED period is UGA and that was more a transition with change of HC. He’s acknowledged as a DC. We’ve seen what bad DC’s can do with talent, so docking one who coaches them to their max level is contrivance in liquid form.

I’ve heard DaveM say when he first got to the titans he worked like a dog as if he didn’t have a single dime to his name.
Said he was absolutely loved from the start as a lower level employee that would do the extra work and loved doing it

Yeah I made note of that on there in the OP, you may have overlooked it. His NFL experience was very brief and had strange circumstances though. I also think he would have been successful had he stayed, so maybe it would be a good idea to go the NFL route again.
