Legal generally does not comment on an ongoing investigation. UT's "no comment" responses to media have made that clear. SOP to zip it up until they're ready to release. Likewise for media to keep chasing clicks by speculating this or that is happening or insisting UT would've said X or Y if Z were the outcome.

I don't know.

UT is so incompetent that it is at least possible Pruitt had the trip pre scheduled, the report is damming but the Chancellor hadn't looked at it yet or gone over it thoroughly, and no one had the forethought to tell Pruitt to stay put while the investigation is officially completed.

That should never happen but I wouldn't put it past them.
I dont think the outside report has been turned over.

I also dont think everybody is in the complete dark just waiting on it either.

UT has taken steps to cover itself with an outside investigation. With or without Pruitt going forward.
You dont let him on the plane if there's a good chance its without and the accusations are the reason.

I mean after the fact. After it’s clear they’ve been lied to/deceived/misled.
That’s what I am talking about..... skeeter was as much an insider as we have ever had..... he missed once on a recruit and people were following him all the board talking trash to him..... I get a little bit of inside info from time to time bc I am close to someone in the sports management program but I’m hesitant to share bc sometimes that info is wrong......everyone here is hoping to hear info we should just leave it alone if someone is wrong and if they are wrong enough times then stop listening to them at all.

Listening to ESPNU and Neuheisel was talking about Bama’s offense, and all offenses, and the rules in college that allow them to be unstoppable.

Talked about linemen being able to block 3 yards downfield before being penalized but in the NFL I think it’s 1 yard. And it never gets called so these dudes are blocking run on nearly every play (the OL is traditionally a key for the defense to distinguish run or pass) and still slinging it on RPO’s.

Said it makes those slants nearly impossible to defend.

Which really leads me to the question of - why has every offensive staff figured this out except at UT?
UT's problem on defense is not hard to figure out and the coaches know what the problem is. UT's d-lines inability to generate a pass rush causes all the problems on defense.

Because most assistants in today's game aren't at the same school for more than a few years unless they're promoted. Also, besides a handful of schools, no HC is guaranteed to be there 3 or 4 years anymore. Its not like the 90s where Fulmer had staff members here for 10 years. The school is the only guarantee that will still be here.

I'd fare to say our next staff would have someone who has had some sort of relationship or at least familiarity with Henry T from the recruiting process as highly touted as he was. Coaching jobs are a revolving door. If you want to blame anyone for this its Pruitt for being a trash head coach and the admin for letting this thing drag on as long as it has. I dont blame him for looking somewhere else. I would as well.

Football coaching has been like that for years. Johnny Majors had a revolving door of assistant coaches. But to expect football players to use a different standard when trying to further their career has always been odd to me. Sure, they like the school, environment, etc. But life is about dealing with people, and football players want to be around people in which they are comfortable and can trust.

I don't blame Henry T either, but I think his concern has to do with everything that's going on.

I’m more concerned about our offensive philosophy. Seems like our staff hasn’t figured this out. How often did you see us running RPO and hitting slants like every team we played?

We need to take advantage of the rules in college.

could you imagine sitting in front of Pruitt and hearing him for 8 hours lol
Aight, Aight, Aight... Im gonna answer this so you never have to ask me again, ok aight. If ya didn't know the little yellow line means first down. Aight, JG gives us the best chance to win, aight. Ya know our goal was to get all the recruits, but that didn't happen, its not like we aren't trying to cheat, aight, we just aren't doing it good enough.

Wanya putting out a little "teehee where am I going? :p" list makes me think he was someone Pope was talking about in his interview.
Good point. You are transferring because you failed at the end of the day. Are you sure you want to make this an event full of fanfare? Lol. Kids these days.
