The cloud over his head and program with a large buyout looming he could have easily laid down and try to be fired he hasn’t done that. Again I have wanted him to be fired but it isn’t happening. Happy for the work he is putting in and hoping he can right the ship.Trying to save your job by doing your job. Not sure that's something to be impressed by.
Yep. His first staff was awesome. And they could
have continued us on our upward path. But losing so many assistants and replacing them with recruiters was a big mistake. If he stays, I hope he has learned from that and hires great coaches first. Steele coming in is hopefully a good sign of that.
I hoped but never really thought he would be fired. Everything we've heard for months was drummed up by the fans and the media took off with it.The cloud over his head and program with a large buyout looming he could have easily laid down and try to be fired he hasn’t done that. He also can help Ainsley run thr defense and let Pruitt be a HC. Although more Pruitt meddling in the offense is not a good thing..I think if he's coaching Inside backers you will see much better play period. A good coach can't teach you to proper angles on the ball even if the speed isn't there. Even though I want Crouch and Banks in the outside, they will get much better coaching from KS
I've heard several people say the staff thinks Salter was the future not HB
Of what has been reported so far..... we did worse during the 90’s but coach Dickey was having no part allowing an internal investigation started by another department..... our downfall started when he retired. The school didn't fire every damn one of them for performance. So in that regard, they are way more supportive than I would have been. It isn't as if Plowman asked them all to cheat and bury the program in an investigation.
