So let’s recap the offseason so far. We add a QB with multiple years of starting experience at the P5 level and at worst will provide quality depth with a high probability to start. Then this week we add Steele who is a major upgrade over Neids in both coaching and recruiting, we add Big Kat who has all-SEC potential. Rumored to have convinced Henry T to come back, convinced Pope to come back. Jay Hardy is rumored to be transferring in as well as other Auburn players and to cap it off Garner is rumored to be joining the staff. Wanya is the only departure that hurts but lets be honest he became a backup the last part of the season. Doesn’t sound like a coach that’s going to be fired IMO.

Can you give me the link of Pruitt claiming he was terrible.... I remember they felt they only had time for reps for the top two due to limited practices and bailey wasn’t it due to lack of practice.... he decided to start the Sunday scrimmages(which is rare) to get him ready.
It was reported by the announcer crew for I believe the Kentucky game or the game after. They reported he told them that in their weekly meeting before the game.

The narrative that anyone wants us to fail is absolutely asinine. Nobody wants Tennessee to succeed more than us on this board.

The discrepancy only comes with what we think of the way to get there. If Pruitt could succeed, we would be happy. Winning cures all. Lord of folks just don’t think Pruitt has shown enough to prove he is capable of bridging and sustaining success. That’s the core of the argument, and he hasn’t shown otherwise yet.

He’s the coach, no need to confirm what everyone knows.
If everyone knows there wouldn’t be numerous stories speculating he could be done here from media, coaches interviewing just in case, players here 2 years being recruited to stay and so on.
So if it’s never been in doubt then we have an AD that’s totally unaware of what “everyone “ is thinking, totally incompetent, or just plain useless.
You believe what you want, but I , even though I’m not a Fulmer fan don’t believe he is that dumb

Doesn't sound like it but it is UT

Browns play calling reminded me a lot of watching the Vols. Unimaginative play calling and when they should have gone for it on 4th down with 4 minutes left to go knowing you haven't been able to stop the Chiefs all game, they punt it. Terrible game management. Glad I'm not a Browns fan.
