Vescovi was shooting 42% before tonight. Springer is 56% in limited chances.

We need Pons to shoot better from 3 and for Fulky to get more shots.

Pons 100% does. I get so mad at how often he is wide at the top of the key and just holds it. He has to knock that down.

Its an oddball kinda way to play, but analytics are about as sure as you can get. You'll shoot yourself into and win a lot more games that way, especially if you have the shooter like Bama.

We couldn't do that because we can't shoot to save our life.

Bama’s shooting will be streaky. They are super hot right now but it is like a sugar high. They will do it for 4-5 games and then be atrocious for 3-4 games. Nature of relying heavily on the 3.

All about Offense. If you can be a top 30 defensive team and a top 10 offensive team, you’re automatically going to win 80% of your games.

Basketball is just so unpredictable, then you add in covid with miss practices and games. The development of Keon and Springer will determine a lot. Pons and Fulk worse offensively than they were last year especially down the stretch so the offensive woes may not continue but we’ll see. We’re definitely still a good team and will be highly seeded

Yep, too early to ring the fire alarm bell. From what I have seen they have two strong creators on O - KJ and Springer. They all overpass. At some point a couple of guys need to step up and demand the ball to develop an identity down the stretch. Create in the lane and to dish or score. The rest need to find spots on the floor where they can consistently knock down shots and then shoot them - stop passing up good shots. They also need to get Fulky and Pons focused down low on D and rebounding as well as for their O. It's not working having them outside passing the ball around the perimeter, then trying to drive in there or hit a tough J.
