Except all seniors don't count and nobody was charged a year for last season, so we essentially have 2 classes all "true freshmen". This is actually a prime offseason for such a clusterf*** to occur. How could we be hammered more than we just hammered ourselves? This whole thing will put us with < 85 scholarship players next year. With additional transfers, probably signing < 25 this year, graduation and the 25 initial counters/year, we likely will take a few years to even get back to 85 scholarship players. We reduced our scholarships on our own...NCAA does any more we won't have enough to field a team.
If they're not eligible here they won't be eligible anywhere. Violation is violation. They've been working all those players to stay. They are jumping ship because they want an easier path. Can't blame them. Like I said it puts the Vols in a numbers crunch. That's more of a concern.I don’t think they would have been able to play here any longer.
God Bless You, Devo!!! I forgot about that!Except all seniors don't count and nobody was charged a year for last season, so we essentially have 2 classes all "true freshmen". This is actually a prime offseason for such a clusterf*** to occur.
Most programs will have trouble getting down to 85 by 2022. This was a good time, actually.
noIf Danny White is really in play for AD, then here is another name we may want to get familar with. Josh Heupel - Wikipedia
Luckily think we had room for 27 or so this year. But next HC needs to come soon if he wants HS guys...otherwise we have plenty of time for transfers.Disappointed that these players wouldn't hang around long enough to see who they were replacing. I'm disappointed also from just a numbers standpoint. Be very hard to replace them from that standpoint. You can't go more than 25. Makes signing those 25 very critical. You can't afford misses or academic casualties.
