Okay I’m like 40 pages behind and have two podcasts to listen to. Anything worthwhile posted this morning that I need to read or is it just Bruin arguments and @Kingston Vol suggesting terrible candidates 🤷‍♂️

Biggest news is Rumor of some kind of announcement today at 3, but no clear knowledge of what will be announced.

And put Bruin on ignore. Choose Joy.

What does that mean? lol

“No, no! Don’t listen! No one wants that job. The fans are toxic! It’s a terrible program!”

- All media people except, apparently, Joe Rexrode
Does it list any of these coaches by name? Of course coaches would want this job..... I’d it anyone we would want?

There's nothing for you to read because you should be preparing for Jeremy Pruitt running through the T in August.

Ledges being jumped off
No way we hire Kiffin but that’s not what was said
Allegedly hired the AD but keeping it quiet
Gilbert supposedly said no
Swain wants Jim Caldwell
Ainge changed fronts on Kiffin

So Gilbert puts out a statement saying he's not getting involved with UT, aka UT has hired someone and that guy is saving face. Mark Ingram isn't in it
Same as Tee saying he withdrew his name for South Alabama. You don’t get the job and you “withdraw.”

December, I was reticent to share on here, I'm not a fan of people airing their personal stuff in here. It's been devastating but I have a support system. Don't take anything for granted.

Damn. So sorry to hear that. I don’t post very often, but you have always been one of the posters I most enjoy on here. It definitely is a reminder not to take anything for granted, and I hope you’re able to find some peace.

I'm circling back around to some names that had been thrown around early one. With it not being Gilbert and Ingram not having had any contact with the Parker Group, Tennessee is going outside the family. In looking at some of those early names would a guy like Danny White at Central Florida make this move.

If Tennessee's paying enough money he might. Central Florida is a good job with a growing department moving up in status but would the lure of the SEC attract him. He would know what he's getting into give his family's history in athletic administration.

I mentioned Wren Baker's name earlier as another guy as well.

I just keep hearing it's going fast

VolzOwn in response to "Will we like the news?"

This quote means nothing to me as I'm not in on the lingo, but I figured you young guys could decipher it.
Trending kind of hire? Kids will flock? Let me take my back pill and I’ll ruminate on it further.

Cole Cubelic just said on ESPNU radio just said with the guys leaving that you have to debate whether or not our roster is better than Ark and USCe. Still a tier above Vandy but he wasn’t big on what we have.

He also thinks out of those 3 rosters that Treylon Burks (Ark) is the best player.
We have 3 times as many 4⭐️ Recruits as all of those schools

Have heard that Tennessee is prioritizing a sitting Power 5 AD to clean up this mess.

A new name:

Rob Mullens - Athletic Director - Staff Directory - University of Oregon Athletics

This guy has been very successful at Oregon and is only paid $717,500 in base salary. We were (and still are, I guess) paying Fulmer $900,000.
This is interesting...... Mark Helfrich is out there with no buyout. Read into the ending of his Oregon tenure and it was due to issues on defense..... I say that to say yes please.

Pruitt and Co. were friggin morons.. This was definitely going to catch up to them and it would've been worse if they had ignored it hoping it wouldn't come out... Way worse..
Cover-up’s always worse than the actual crime...history and teaching and us kind of thing.
