Here's something else: all the worry about a head coach being willing to take this job probably just went away. A HC knows that we have a competent AD, a guy they can trust and who will have their back. This is huge for potential coaching targets.

With this offer they made that was “so good” he couldn’t say no tells me they ain’t playing and if the guy they want fits the mark they’ll pony up whatever it takes.

Again, even not considering how great of a hire this is. Because White is a ****ing home run.

There was a plan. Nobody publicly turned us down. No flight trackers. No “scrambling around”. No booster interference. Got this done in 72 hours. Plan was in place and it was executed perfectly.

Was a little skeptical when this was posted with all of the firings and defections. Despite a few rough days, this AD hire looks like a home run. Surprisingly, I’m starting to get a little optimistic about the HC hire.

We will see...circle back to this after whatever poor dumb schlub finally gets this job after another round of getting doors slammed in our face by any coach worth a damn, and our idiots in charge telling some coaches that actually are worth a damn that we don't want their filthy hands on our "Beacon of Integrity"...

I hope I am wrong, but I don't think there is much chance I am. I'm not being dramatic...just truthful.

Nothing wrong about being passionate about Tennessee football and hopefully we will all be pleasantly surprised by the time this all plays itself out. I once heard Will West say that average sports fans are idiots and have despised even hearing his voice on the radio.He understands nothing about being passionate about Tennessee football and I certainly respect the way you feel about them.
