Disagree. I don't think they're guaranteed to win. Certainly they are better options than a lot of other coaches, but they are not guaranteed to come here and succeed and win.

I didn't say they would win. Also agreed that none were a guarantee if you saw that part. But they HAVE already proven to have the offense and that's what we need and where the game has went. There is not another coach remotely close to them in chances to succeed. Not saying they will be hired or the next one won't work out. But Kiffin is the surest homerun hire we could hope for. Jmo again, doesn't meant it would workout as homerun hires sometimes don't.

Lane is an awesome dream. Who knows if this talk is real. Still feels far fetched to me but I would be over the moon if it happened. I think White will have plenty of resources to figure out if he's the right guy to build around. I do think he would come. But is he the guy we really want? I trust White's call on that.

If he's out I still lean Napier, Chadwell or Fickell in that order. I think they're all really good coaches. I also think the culture White is gonna build here will set any one of them up for success.

Some of these other big names feel like bigger stretches than Kiffin. I just don't see it happening. Not with NCAA stuff lingering.

Napier was off the board yesterday because of our mess. And today now he might be interested and we're too good for him? Naw

Napier feels like the obvious guy you go all in on to me. Checks every box.

I'm just glad O'Brien and Marrone are off the board. Yeesh. Today has been a great day.

I hope this doesn’t come off wrong, but with everything you had said over the past few days it seemed like you thought this program would be dead for at least a decade and not recover. With the new AD hiring are you shifting gears on that sentiment now, or are you still waiting for a new HC to be named?

I think today was a great day. I also thing Whites second hire is the most important one. The first hire is destined to fail here sadly. Just to big of a hill to climb
