Is this the nut punch? A random name drop by Hyams? I would be so let down lol
hubbs dropped Dykes yesterday. i think they're all just dot connecting based on past relationships or family ties etc.......i don't think that's case of "real intel"....by either one, and Hubbs basically said that in a later post last night.

Hermans should be. I would still love freeze.

Yes---- look, I know the hesitation with Freeze and Kiffin.... but seriously--- these guys have proven coaching records and have both been successful navigating the SEC, they know it, breath it, and flourish in it. The main thing with me on these two are the fact that they aren't scared to be innovative and creative (would let staff do their jobs and not micromanage) and most importantly in this conference--- THEY CAN RECRUIT LIKE STUDS.

Serious question, why? His record has been extremely meh...

Interesting IMO because he's def an offensive guru, and a developer of QBs. He didn't get W/L results at Cal, but who does? He developed the heck out of Jared Goff. He's had big success at two places that are traditionally pretty hard to win at -- La Tech and SMU. He wouldn't be at or really near the top of my list, but he certainly checks some boxes since he's an offensive minded guy with plenty of HC experience.

I think we could do far worse.

Wow, I hope it is not Sonny Dykes, he got fired at California.. If we got to him, would much rather have Chadwell, the guy at Buffalo - Lance Leipold or even the OC at Clemson - Tony Elliott.. Sonny Dykes being hired would be very uninspiring.
