And that is why someone like DW was willing to take the job. We have gotten rid of the guilty parties

This quote from @Stoerner Fumbles is telling to me, but I think he reaches the wrong assumption.

The "bend" would be a lack of head coaching experience, not a lack of integrity. He supposes it means Kiffin, I think it means Elliott.

Plus negativity permeates deeply if allowed to go on that way. I get why people have been negative. I really do, but it has consequences.

You can't talk a big game publicly about hiring a proven winner and trot out Tony Elliott. Seems like a good guy but no more coordinators from winning programs where every coach seems to succeed. Sark is a different story since he had previous HC success.

Also, would argue getting Wanya back is far more crucial than any others in portal. You can find RB's and LB's much easier than someone who can play LT during this transition.
