He beat no.3 OU in Norman in his second year and has competed against them every year since year 2. He’s by far the best option for us

I don’t think we will either but i think Tony Elliot is a little different. Not often a College OC gets interviewed and interest for NFL head coaching jobs. He turned down Georgia tech as well.

Yes, thought about that. Texas Longhorn steer was the closest thing I could pair with a cow. The other was TCU is in Fort Worth, “Cowtown” Gary Patterson but that’s just random riddle solving in my mind.

I think you are overthinking all this. Over the moon just means he’s really happy about the target/hire.

Oklahoma and Texas are not like the old teams in the past.factor in the big 12 being weak...yea it’s bound to happen at some point.keep in mind this is literally his first year of relevance as far as having notable wins..personally I’d wait one more year on him if it were my money but it isn’t.

In 2017 Campbell’s ISU team beat two teams ranked in the top 5 in the same month.
