My guess is that White is interviewing 3-4 people that fit different molds (up and coming HC, Big time college coordinator, stable HC and a wild card) and then go after one.

Elliot would be the coordinator and if he knocked the interview out of the park then who knows what will happen!

Rumor is they've brought back Bahama John as an assistant AD, or possibly Janitor. Due to budget constraints after paying White's buyout, his flight range is limited. Now going by the moniker Carolina John.

AV pretty much hinted that the plane tracking was useless in this coaching search.

Even if we knew which tail number it was, they’re going to be flying to some random town to meet IMO. So we’d also have to know a 2nd tail number that the coaching candidate was using, assuming they’re even flying.

Given enough time I have confidence we could learn the booster planes at all power 5 schools but I have a feeling the search will be over pretty soon.

Yeah, I know what AV said. I also know any information is hit and miss.

That flight tracker is German based - very possible UT missed it when blocking tail numbers.

Guys, AV said that he is over the moon. That was just yesterday. That was after the TE outreach rumors. He said it will be a head coach and don't worry. He also posted with smiles and apparently in good spirits.

He would not come around here with all of that optimism and affirming other positive posts/intel from others if we were to be anything other than hopeful and excited.

Relax. Let the pros that we (finally) have in place get this done. Look out for Chris Lowe. Look out for AV. They are quiet for a reason right now, while all the other media around the program are throwing anything against the wall.

Here’s what I think. DW has locked down leaks. Any speculation you are hearing are either intentional false flags, agents trying to create leverage for their clients or people being manipulated by both. DW is known to keep a very tight circle.

This is not a typical Tennessee coaching search. Legit leaks will be near non-existent. And that’s a good thing.

Just a little reminder that Currie did the same. However, I think DW's hire will be eons better than who Currie tried to trot out.
