The program is a dumpster fire. It needs an experienced coach. TE is a project. I’ll watch if he lands here, but in my estimation he won’t achieve any kind of success that will make him clearly better than Dooley, Butch, or Pruitt. By 2024 that will be obvious and we will cut him loose. Our insiders will claim big money is on the table, that this time we’re serious, that without the cloud this job is MUCH more attractive than it was in 2021. We’ll end up with another project and this cycle will continue in perpetuity until the sun burns out.

I have a feeling that if and it’s a big if TE is chosen then DW will have the program set up to help make TE as successful as possible.

The fanbase not wanting a coach, for whatever reason, isn't a red flag. If a coach is scared of a large boisterous fanbase then perhaps championship level programs are not for him. That's an indictment on the coach. Not the fans.

I'm certain he will. I just feel like this is too big of a job that needs too many things, even without an NCAA cloud, to REALLY set him up for success. If he were sliding into Dabo's chair I'm sure Clemson wouldn't miss much of a beat, but Clemson is a well-oiled machine, while we're a rusted out Datsun B210 on cinderblocks in the backyard.
