Based on their contracts and current situations... i think Campbell or fleck would take the most money to pull. I heard Campbell demands to bring his entire staff too. That’s why he was passed over for Adam Gase with the jets

Someone may have pointed this out already as I'm 45 minutes behind but AV did say he'd clean house and have a whole new staff. So if he's demanding his whole staff comes with him then that would fit.

He beat highly ranked teams with recruiting you get in Iowa, coach of the year twice, to name a few.

They definitely have built the right culture which is what we’ve been missing

I must admit that I don’t follow Iowa State football, but am I the only person that wonders why everyone is giddy about paying a coach $8 million dollars a year that is 35-28 in a terrible Big 12 conference? Butch Jones was 34-27 here and was playing Bama, UGa, Florida, et al.

My only concern if it is Campbell, is I’m sure the current players and upcoming recruits probably don’t know who Matt Campbell is. just see his record for what it is and not actually like damn this guy has done a tremendous job at ISU. Will need some stellar recruiters on that staff at first.

These kids know exactly who Matt Campbell is. They know the recruiting game and schools better than we do.

He might have been waiting for that right situation with the right AD to support what he wants to do. If he doesn’t want to leave ISU then it’s because he’s comfortable and doesn’t want that challenge. If that’s the case then we shouldn’t want someone who thinks they can’t handle it here, correct?
