Petersen strikes me as a successful anywhere kind of guy. Anyone who can transform an unknown Boise team and take them undefeated with the capstone win over OU, that’s something. Plus he wasn’t a slouch at his next stop either

If you’re questioning why any coach would listen to Tennessee, just remember that quote. Every coach out there wants to be the one that pushes Saban off his throne.

A coach that believes in himself HAS to consider the opportunity to take down the king and make a storied old rivalry great again.

Franklin is a good coach and that’s it. He’s not very offensive minded either. DW clearly stated that he’s going after an offensive minded coach.
