Y’all are comparing Vandy & penn st to Iowa st. Penn st is decent but Ohio st is the only real power house that they can’t be competitive with when Vandy had a decent run TN sucked Kentucky sucked South Carolina sucked. Franklin got some decent players from the mid state due to us sucking. Campbell actually had to compete against a really decent pool of coaches & held his own

went 11-3 his third year, up from 7-5 when he started. Lest we forget that Franklin beat Florida, a ranked Georgia team, and us in a single year. Yeah... not impressive for Vandy right?

We have wanted UT to pick someone and not take no for an answer. Overpaying is what can happen if you do that.

None of the Vandy stuff came out until after he was at Penn St... It wouldn't have shown up in vetting because court documents are sealed. After he was already hired there was no point in them reopening that can of worms.

The crime happened in June 2013. Franklin was hired in January 2014.

Penn State definitely knew about the incident and did background on it.

Nothing in any of the articles I’ve read that couldn’t be vetted by a search firm with a few phone calls.
