I think the attraction of Campbell is the perception of doing more with less. Has James Franklin done more with less, particularly at Penn State? I would say no. He's done about what he should have done. I think we need a coach that's proven he can do more with less.

He has definitely done less at PSU than they were expecting. Still no QB.

I'll sum up the Freezer/Franklin conundrum.

Freeze is a guy you reluctantly go out with to have a few beers and realize you wouldn't mind going out and having a few beers with him again. Franklin is a guy you reluctantly go out with to have a few beers and realize you can't stand this POS and have to resist the urge to break the bottle over his prick head. And you never consider having a beer with him again.

Its not about when it happened, its when the court documents are un sealed which usually takes a while.

The players were kicked off the football team in June of 2013, arrested and indicted in August. Franklin was hired by penn state in January 2014. If you don’t think they did their homework on it I’m not sure what to tell you.

The allegations on the articles I read can be confirmed or dismissed within a few phone calls.

I’m not going to sit here in a message board and condemn a guy in something I have no idea about if schools/search firms/AD’s/Prosecutors have way more information than any of us on the matter and are willing to pay him millions.

Zero proof that Franklin did anything wrong other than own UT and flick some fans off.
