Any dank nugs out there on the search ya’ll? Or are we still wigging out preemptively and contemplating life choices in regard to Tennessee football coaching searches?

Fleck does seem like a system guy.
Regimented, detail oriented, intelligent
Could translate well, seems similar to Saban in that respect. Obviously he’s not Saban, but perhaps the military like approach could work here? Don’t love his personality or the catch phrases but I don’t think it’d be a bad hire.

Yes, they're going to structure a deal to make the new guy feel comfortable. There's a reason Plowman and Boyd keep stressing patience-- they want stability and are subtexting that it's going to take time and we're going to ride this out with the new hire.

If that’s the approach — and I support it — you have to do everything possible to hire somebody that you have confidence you will still want around in 5 years.

Matt Campbell fits that bill (and there are others). Some of these other names don’t. The ones that do are expensive. Hope we pay up.

It will heal soon. There’s worse places to put a staple. How’s that for positive. 😀
I accidentally shot myself in the inner thigh with a pin nailer. I was installing rope molding on cabinets from a 6ft ladder and holding it in between my legs while fitting pieces together. I walked into the living room and dropped my pants to get the nail out... lady homeowner walks in the front door right in front of me.

Yeah, there are worse places.

Ahhhh the old google result= Real life truth argument. That’s a new one.
**** off...I followed it in real time seven years ago, I didn'tneed to google it to know what happened...so ignore me or get ready to see it over and over and over to every dang time you smart off at me...

If you all want me to shut up about that dusgusting pile of dog excrement...then quit bringing him up.

I feel like we have better words to more clearly communicate what a hamburger is and that calling it a sandwich just leads to inefficient taxonomical vaguery. I feel the same way about hot dogs, though I must admit the bun being joined together does potentially create a situation where a hot dog could be judged to be a non-sandwich.

Also, I can't wait to see Will Healy run through the T. I hope he keeps his shirt on.

I think this underestimates a lot of things, mainly the few hundred thousand fans itching desire to get back into neyland at full capacity after a covid season, regardless of who is on the sidelines. Beyond that, White’s job is to hire someone to win football games, not popularity contests. He could trot out the ghost of Derek Dooley and so long as he wins 8 games next year— which he absolutely should based on the schedule— neyland will be rocking again.
That 19-30 record at Cal would be a tough sell. He had a p5 job and was very bad in it. A couple of other things that was make it disappointing is one of his Cal teams gave up the most passing yards EVER in a game and he was 1-11 vs Cal's rivals, which is very Pruitt like.
