He does. I don't know how you can know if he "just followed" them. Or why he would follow them on Twitter right now of all the things he could be doing.

As a coaching search historian, I don't think the "So and so just followed so and so" scoop has ever led to anything at all. If that makes you all feel better.

You can tell by following both coach and players he allegedly follows then going to their page and it’ll say “x follows each other” but I can’t find franklins Twitter

I get why most would not want Healy at the moment, but he is not a Dooley hire. He turned APSU (my alma mater) around in a way that absolutely no one saw coming. Ideally he is able to get some more seasoning, but he would definitely change the culture here.
