Especially with @Atlanta VOL saying the type of contract that will be in place will take a while to iron out. It might be Franklin.

AtlVol is telling us it's franklin, imo. He felt the need to tell us to support this program and we are in good hands. No one needs another schiano.

I always thought he was a DB, but never paid attention to the rape allegations. I think it's dangerous to litigate in a public forum, so I'm not digging into this.

I love how everyone twist his words to protect him. He was over the moon over the new AD and Coach. There wasn’t some super secret code. If the coach backed out like a recruit does then he backed outZ it happens. Hell Franklin used to use posts from this board to negative recruit us. If he was the whale then I can bet he saw the people on this board calling him a rapist lover. Maybe that type of stuff is what killed any deal if he was the whale.

I still don't understand why the penalties are such a deal breaker.

1. The NCAA is close to two years out before hearing the case. Unless we self impose it will be year three before penalties kick in.

2. DW is supposed to know his way around the AA and should be able to mitigate damages.

3. Scholarship reductions are not as bad as before the 25 hard cap. It's not uncommon to run under 85 anyway. Underachieving players are nudged out. It affects the bottom of the roster, not the top.
