I know most of you don’t like the idea because it’s not an exciting name, but having seen Heupels teams in person a few times over the last few years, we could do a lot ****ing worse. He’s a legit program builder and his teams are explosive. I don’t hate it.

We may bitch and moan, but we haven't caused the ruin of this program. That's a media propagated myth. All we've done is continue to support a declining program the past 15 years. All this is is Danny White making sure he’s comfortable.

Disagree on that front. I think he’s a well above average coach. Outperforms his talent by a solid margin, near the top of that list on offense statistically.

Recruiting on the other hand is a huge unknown.

Respectfully, which program has he built? He took over a team that was undefeated the season before he got there.

Totally agree Bass. AP and Hubbs taked about it earlier in the VQ podcast. They were discussing how difficult it would be to hire a head coach when nobody knows what the punishment is going to be for our violations. And that’s a great point. If you were a D1 HC how would you feel about taking a job where you have no idea of what kind of limitations there are going to be for you?

The good news is I have a couple of degrees from Colorado and teach at Georgia Southern so I have two other schools to which I have some attachment. Colorado kinda sucks but GS isn't bad for a Sun Belt team.
