I think there is a significant disconnect between our perception of the program as fans and the national perspective looking in. Our results during the past 15 years as well as our last three HC, perhaps about to 4, indicate that we are a mid-tier SEC program on par with UK, SC, and Mizzou.

That could turn around if we luck into the right guy, but it seems to simply be reality right now.

They ran with Dykes last night and that didn’t end well

If you expect Franklin you’re going to be disappointed with Heupel based on name alone. It’s easy to get your heart set on a coach only to have a different name emerge that’s lesser known. But I’m just going to throw this out there from last season...

Heupel’s Offense averaged 42 points and 568 yards a game.

Franklin’s Offense averaged 29 points and 430 yards a game.

That doesn’t always translate to wins but it sure gives you a better chance especially in this high powered offensive era.
