Not sure what's funnier, DW lazy ass hiring of his HC from where he left if true, or that people on here are actually seriously trying to justify the hire and convincing themselves it is good or will be good... LMAO... you guys are pathetic.

Our fan base is "toxic" because we have been fed **** for 15 years.
It's not the fanbase that's toxic. It's the administration and our boosters. People need to realize that and stop blaming the fans. Fans respond directly to what they are fed, and we've been fed a stream of BS for 15 years.

Only thing giving me hope is that all these outlets seem to be saying “ink isn’t dry” which is the language they’d use for a controlled leak to throw people off. Nobody is saying “done deal”

If it’s Heupel, Donde’s email inbox needs to be bombarded.

No she isn’t doing this. She had no choice but to do what she did when these azz holes put the receipts on her desk. She did her part and hired White. Then the rest shot their load early and didn’t seal the deal. My goodness I can’t believe this. Go get Herman or Chadwell or somebody

First, I got 100 messages and over a 100 notifications so sorry I’m not going to get to all.
On Heupel, ink isn’t dry but I’m told that is the direction it’s going and I feel confident he will be the next coach. Press conference tomorrow at 3:00pm is tentatively scheduled. That could be fluid.
Heupel is 28-8 and a brilliant offensive mind and QB coach. He will score points. He put up big numbers as Mizzou’s OC. He knows the SEC landscape. He won a Heisman (insert Weinke jokes, i know). His players love him and he is a good recruiter. Considering all the coaches we vetted and didn’t get good returns this is a good hire imo. You all need to understand where we are as a program right now with sanctions coming. This is not an attractive job. We offered big money to some candidates. I trust Danny White until he gives me a reason not to. This is a good hire. We will score points.
I do believe he will bring Lebby but nothing is set in stone. His defensive hires will be extremely important and something to watch. I do believe he will retain Joe Osovet as his WR coach and possibly Jay Graham as his RB coach.
Does Steele stay or does Lebby bring Randy Shannon who has SEC experience?

Im seriously still trying to wrap my head around James Franklin being the top target in all this even if he’s totally innocent his name is forever connected to what happened at Vandy and we are too proud to call Hugh Freeze? I know Freeze was a long shot with his past but it definitely is worth an answer from White, Plowman and Boyd on if you’re going to preach integrity and then target someone with a black cloud hanging around whether innocent or not like Franklin.

He says bring SEC experience like Steele hasn't been at Auburn for awhile

You can, but that's not the goal, need a guy who can build to more
I’ll take a guy who can set a foundation and stabilize the program over Pruitt or Butch who recruits great and doesn’t do anything with it. Another guy like that and our program will officially be dead

Is JH a guy that can stabilize it? Idk but it won’t be his lack of pulling in elite classes if he fails
