I’m a lot like @Bassmaster_Vol in that I always seem to talk myself into people (new coaches, new draft picks, crazy girls). I don’t know if Heupel is going to be a star here, but I feel extremely confident in saying that I know we will be fun to watch again, and I think that’s all a lot of us want to start. A lot of games in the Pruitt era made my eyes bleed. Excited to see how this staff fills out. Go Vols.
No he was going to play them against the request from UTs compliance office that said it was not a good idea because of the Investigation.Someone help me understand. EG and BM were escorted out of the locker room before the A&M game. JP is an idiot..... So he is the one that had them escorted out? Why?
I’ll never understand why people are upset with this hireAlso:
-Nobody gains more yards than UCF (619.1 per game).
- Nobody throws for more yards than the Knights (396.9 per game).
-Nobody runs more plays than UCF (86.5 per game).
- Nobody produces more first downs than the Knights (29.1 per game).
-UCF's offensive production the last three football seasons (2017-18-19) has been off the charts.
They rank as the only three years in history in which the Knights have averaged more than 500 yards of total offense per game (530.5 in 2017, 522.7 in 2018 and a school-record 540.5 in 2019)
Now comes 2020.
In addition to a pandemic, the football season has brought about a UCF offensive explosion that has dwarfed those figures from recent seasons:
In addition to ranking No. 1 in both total offense and passing offense, the Knights currently stand No. 11 in scoring (44.0 points) and 20th in rushing (222.3 yards per
If it holds up, the current UCF total-offense average of 619.1 yards per game would rank as the second-highest in NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision history--behind only the record 624.9 figure by Houston in 1989.
The current UCF passing yards per-game average of 396.9 would have led the nation in five of the last eight seasons.
**Heupel has averaged over 42 points per game for 3 seasons**
....Read that again
Haynesworth said it should have been the black man but instead we hired batman.
BTW Tee isn't qualified for the job.... look at our list of coaches that turned us down! Nothing had to do with race.
He once again embarrasses himself. My goodness.... Tony Elliot and James Franklin said no....
Tennessee is SYSTEMATICALLY RASICIST because a person of color didn't accept the job when offered.

Yes I might actually buy tix again. We went to quite a few under Butch (Dobbs sure was fun to see). Never even attempted during the Pruitt era. No excitement.I’m a lot like @Bassmaster_Vol in that I always seem to talk myself into people (new coaches, new draft picks, crazy girls). They were 20th on offense that year..I saw someone mention Heupal being a scapegoat at OU. Then I read a lazy Mike Farrell article about the hire as he said OU fans say he’s a poor offensive mind.
In the first 3 years at OU, they won 10+ games. In his 4th year, they went 8-5, but in three of those losses, they scored 30+ points with Trevor Knight. Bob Stoops wasn’t going to fire his brother as DC.
