While we’re agreeing on stuff, let’s get to the most important point, it’s a problem IF they don’t call it both ways. No matter which sport it is, different crews are going to call it different ways. It’s up to the PLAYERS to figure out quickly what they can or cannot get away with. I didn’t see the same 10 feet over the head thing you did but regardless, it was already long established that you weren’t going to be able to drape yourself all over the man you’re covering...so don’t do it! I believe most of the handicuffs were a result of Tampa Bay’s receivers and backs owning their mirrors and natural frustration setting in.I just want consistency, and there isn't any. If Mike Evans were 10 feet tall and had go-go Gadget arms, he might have caught the ball that hit the stands behind the endzone. We can back and forth, but I think we can objectively say that that the game 2 weeks ago and the one last night were called totally different. It might have been an All-Star crew, but it didn't look like it.
Nah I think he likes his situation just fine. LSU has offered him many times to be the DC and he’s declined each timeI wonder when Corey Raymond ever decides to leave LSU. He has coached Elite DBs forever and yet doesn’t get the DC role there. He keeps passing up offers from UGA, AM and Tx to stick around. It is his alma mater but at some point he has to consider the next step. Also not the best sign he never gets the promo to LSU DC
I know that the great DC debate is in full rage, but I finally got around to reading an article about the Tweets from the UK game Saturday night. This one from our favorite KSR dude warms the cockles of my heart.
I'm assuming you mean his coaching hires in non-football sports because he hired both Bryan Harsin and Blake Anderson who were pretty good and left for bigger jobs.AState AD is looking to leave, football is best program at school. Other sports are not good. Lots of fans want him gone. He did great job with facilities, but coach hires have been poor.
