I'm very much interested in Banks coaching Safeties and us hiring Simon and a known LB coach to work with that group. Then you snag a CB coach and the staff is set.

Also I wonder who will be the all-star recruiter on this staff. My early favorites are these guys(without knowing the rest of the defensive staff)

I think he’d recruit at a high level guess the only question is, can he coach/develop talent? I’d be good with them giving him a chance.

Okay, I'm confused ... the off topic thread states in parenthesis (no politics, covid, or hot button issues) ... and that's where they moved the myriad of topics from the football talk thread?

What am I missing? Am I reading that wrong?

Not complaining or anything ... kinda glad the mods got the thread back under control ... except I've never seen this thread like this.
I haven't been a regular in the RF for very long, and lately, I've come to prefer it over the FF.
I'm kinda lost now.

My hope is Kevin Simon at one linebacker coach and then someone like the Penn State linebacker/special teams coach plus maybe JJ McCleskey at corners coach plus Banks at safeties and DC.

That said: I'm preparing for John Jancek at linebackers and Willie Martinez at cornerbacks.
