Just watched the conference with our new coaches. I like what I am hearing and the one thing that is going to be so difference for us especially on the O side of things is the continuity these guys have compared to the last couple of years. I like the fact that JH brought most his staff. I feel that it is going to give our players an advantage as far as catching on with the philosophy of this O that is going to be so exciting.

Our 11-month-old son started running a fever this afternoon and is in the ER now with a 103.1 temperature. Some of you may recall me asking for prayers for my niece late last year due to MIS-C, a secondary condition to COVID-19. We are almost positive he was infected with COVID-19 a few weeks back. There was an outbreak at his school, and my wife and I contracted it. I know we have prayer warriors here and I would appreciate them at this time.
Prayers have gone up, God Bles this little guy.

I can't believe how this basketball team has regressed.

I’m starting to look at this in a different way and I like it. I think Barnes realize that this team can’t reach it’s ceiling playing thru the post(fulkerson) like Barnes likes to do and this team prepared to do all off-season and half of this season.

I think when it became painfully obvious that SV couldn’t lead us to the final four Barnes left his comfort zone and let us become a perimeter oriented dribble drive team. In doing that Fulky and Pons were destined to have an adjustment period and Springer and Keon would also have great moments but also inconsistencies. The end result gives us the best chance to win big in March but also gives us the best chance to lose some games in the short term

I see this as two seasons in one with a pretty significant philosophy change

Good to hear it's not cancer. I've always enjoyed Frank Martin.

Make no mistake he can turn into a prick real quick lol I use to not like him because of how he coached at KSU but I’ve come to like him because he gets the most out of his players..

Yes sir. I am praying for this strong, young man and for your family. Really hopeful for a full and speedy recovery.

Oh wow that’s insane.I’ve not heard of anyone suffering from hair loss because of this s**t that’s super wild man👀
Sounds like he's chalking it up to stress. Would make sense with a stressful job in stressful times and catching covid on top of it. It's also not clear how much hairloss he had. Some guys have a quick trigger if the hairline moves even a little.

Ap said back when Hooker signed that he may be the starter but that he feels Hooker is more of a backup. At least at this point.
If HB or KS can take the job and run with it it would be nice to get 3-4 years of continuity at QB. I just think in year one they may go with the veteran guy because of the reasons stated in my post but experience and running ability when your playmakers are inexperienced like ours are may help keep the chains moving. Also I think he would be an asset running power or read option with hooker in the red zone. Obviously I could be wrong and guys may develop more quickly than anticipated.

And to those who may have misunderstood, I am not writing Bailey off entirely I just don’t think he’s the favorite going into spring or maybe in year 1. He’s still a good prospect and has the potential to be a better passer than hooker but you need to play the guy that’s ready right now. Not just mechanics wise but he was not accurate on deep balls and that’s an integral part of our offense. He’s going to need to be an elite passer to play because he doesn’t provide much with his legs. He’s pretty solid in short to intermediate throws though.
