We're looking in Cumberland or Fentress as well. Looking for around 50 acres or more. Planning on building a barndo.

Nice, just saw a 50+ with an old barn and new one in construction for sale near Whites Creek lol

The area between Clarkrange and Monterey near Muddy Ponds would be a good spot to look. Off highway 62 but close to I-40, feel like you're in the middle of nowhere for a good stretch of that drive but can be on I-40 in a few minutes.

Damn this is scary.

Could have pinched a nerve, the way he took those shots to the head/neck area. Having had one before there are some undesired muscle twitches that occur and the sensation of cold is intense. Mine was thankfully in my lower leg, also the test they run are far worse than any I've ever had done. Like an 8 inch needle being plunged into the back of the leg to touch/test the nerve with small pulses of electricity.

Like every jolt felt like the worst hamstring cramp I've had in my life, was not pleasant.

All of that is very scary. Hoping he has recovered and there’s nothing to it long term.

Kiffin made Crompton serviceable. Good coaches can do that. While the idea of JG being here another season is horrifying to me, I do have the slightest curiosity about what Heup could have pulled out of him. Most likely he would be one more head coach with crushed hopes and dreams, but still, I wonder.

One thing I actually believe based on what the offensive staff said in the presser and what they've done in previous stops.

"We're going to have the 11 best players on the field." I don't think that's just lip service with this staff, so if Salter comes in and proves he's the guy freshman or not he'll play. If Maurer manages to look the part it'll be him, I don't think they will trot out Hooker because he's a grad transfer or trot out Bailey because they are worried about him transferring if he doesn't get playing time (like JT Shrout got PT last season).

How long does it take a egg plant to produce. I planted eight back in the summer and not one egg yet. Built them a coop and everything, still nothing. I'm getting tired of bacon and plant for breakfast.

Most eggplants are male my dude, that's why the emoji was invented to represent the pecker in text message. Whoever sold you them probably gave you all male species and is laughing all the way to the bank.

"Remember in the way back when dad was a kid?"

That reminds me of an addition to the good kids movies discussion: Mr. Peabody and Sherman from 2014. My kids love to watch it, and it’s really good.

Man, I hope you're right.

My buddy is in love, sold his house, but now he's thinking he may marry her, so I'm do it solo now. Just smaller piece of land. I want to be in fentress cause the internet in cumberland is mostly dsl which sucks. More rural fentress has fiber go figure

Clarkrange? Allardt? My family’s origin story. As late as the early 90’s they didn’t have cable TV.

You have to fold your legs under and sit on it I think.

My late aunt and uncle were practically extra family to the Mennonites in Muddy Pond. When sorghum was being made, they’d pitch in.

Southlake water out and rolling blackouts.
Melting snow to flush toilets is not as exciting and glamorous as it sounds. 🤠

I managed to get plenty of drinking water for my family.

Water just went out today at the hospital. Can’t have surgeries without water... Hoping for at least water soon.

It could be worse...VN could be offline or people arguing...at least we have a DC!
I feel bad about complaining about the rolling blackouts around Dallas. Texas is in bad shape with this freak storm. It looks like the rolling blackouts are over today and according to the news only a few hundred thousand are without power. That's down from over 3 million. You never know who to believe anymore.

I was about to ask you if you left the community after a Rumspringa or something ;)

Was always a fan of the Fentress county Mennonite community, we bought a lot of woodworking from a small shop they had just before ya got into Clarkrange. Swings, Chairs, even Gazebos every one built by hand. Not sure they still own it and build there though.

All media and news sources can be trusted ... even the print media ... it's all good, no worries!

Our 11-month-old son started running a fever this afternoon and is in the ER now with a 103.1 temperature. Some of you may recall me asking for prayers for my niece late last year due to MIS-C, a secondary condition to COVID-19. We are almost positive he was infected with COVID-19 a few weeks back. There was an outbreak at his school, and my wife and I contracted it. I know we have prayer warriors here and I would appreciate them at this time.

Praying for the little guy, your family and for the doctors and nurses taking care of him. Stay strong and keep the faith.

Born and raised in Chattanooga. Lived with my mom the last year of high school and right before I enlisted in the AF. If you’re talking open land, that huge area to the east of Muddy Pond (Martha Washington) is relatively untapped...or at least it was 5 years ago.

I believe we are about the same age. Do you happen to remember a guy that went to Chattanooga Baylor named Clint Paramore?

I think we're about 7 hours away from the 1983 record still but chance we get above freezing before that. I guess there could be records in some cities. I'm talking about Austin. Texas is a big state though.
I lived way up north in Pampa in 83...that winter was bruuuutal, but I don't remember the state having the problems it is having now.

We're definitely better off if one of Bailey/Salter takes the job and runs with it (maybe even Maurer) but Hooker is a nice fall back floor to have. He would be better than what we've had since Dobbs I would think.

I'm guessing there was less people to provide power to back then here. But I was still in Tennessee in the 80s and a child so I don't remember it. Hahaha
