He could go JuCo for a year, then transfer in, but why make it easy for him to go to Auburn? He signed a NLI for Tennessee. If he wants out, fine, just don't sign with another conference team. I'm okay with that condition. He still has options. It's not like other P5 conferences won't give him a scholly.

Beach Boys were awesome. They would be more highly thought of if they had not had to compete with the Beatles.

I agree, but the impacts they made were very different. The Beatles were look and tempo different...akin to Elvis. They were almost a novelty....though an extremely talented one!!

You may have been the one to mention it, but The Beach Boys were harmonically different.

We need to get our kids calling their friends at other schools and convince them to transfer to UT after the Spring semester. If other schools are gonna use that tactic <cough>Oklahoma<cough> we should too. We need some bodies from the transfer portal.

That's what always bothers me, the NCAA has taken no real stance on this ish and it makes it look like the coaches are bad guys. The kid is an incoming HS guy, him having to sit his first year because before he even enrolled he changed his mind should just be how it is.

Agreed. Again, he could easily go to UT for a year see if he likes it and if he doesn’t transfer (without any penalties)

I never wish ill for a young man, but if Dylan Brooks ends up a bust, I won't be disappointed. Probably just the hurt talking because he's definitely a position of need for us, but I just don't understand this undying love of Pruitt. It's not as if Auburn has any of the coaches left that were recruiting him there.

i forget the name of the festival, but it's one that Clapton puts on....i have a live recording of it and he does "queen of california" and i swear it's one of those songs that you listen to and it immediately changes your mood. that dude is good. i wish that's all he did lol...

i'm a pretty big fan of gary clark jr. too. he played at that same festival, did a duet with, hell, i can't remember who, on "Catfish" which is great, and "when my train comes in"....both just awesome.
