did we seriously sign the one QB who wrote the record books in the highest level of GA high school football that doesn’t pan out? He would have broken all the records if he played a full sophomore season. I still think HB can be a great QB but dang! I hoped he would step up.

I went to the 2005 UT game against Florida in the CWS, was right by the wall where Eli Iorg robbed FL of a home run. Also went to games at the new location down town. It's too bad they moved it from Rosenblatt, was a much better atmosphere.

Maybe it's just me... but It would be interesting to see the amount of traffic on VN over the past few years and if it's fallen off. It's just not like it used to be. Jmo

I actually track this off and on using Alexa Rank. Over the last 90 days we’ve improved our ranking from around 75k in the world to 69k in the world.

On July 7, 2020 I posted that we were ranked #15,109 in the United States. Today we are ranked #13,611.

Around the time I first signed up I think there were a little over 50k members. I think I saw somewhere recently that we are now above 78k members.

I think there's a difference in how many people hang out on VolNation vs perhaps how many people are actively posting.

For example, most of our local media are not active posters here but they would have no clue what is going on if they didn't lurk on VolNation. jmo.

To me, you go with Maurer’s upside and hope with experience he minimizes mistakes. HH is like starting athletic Keller Chryst.

I think it’s Maurer’s to lose. If he can take care of the ball he will be the starter. He keeps being a rollercoaster and they will go with steady Hooker and be a run heavy team with occasional shots. There’s paths to success with both of them imo.

Bailey just looks stiff and limited athletically to me. Ball floats due to his push throwing motion

My dad was pretty good. Don't know what his best round ever was, but I saw him shoot low 70s many times.

Done in the sense of being the guy this year. I'm sure having legit coaching and developing for a year would do wonders.
