Boycotts generally backfire because they are not righteous. People see them as cruel and unfounded so they go out of their way to see them fail. Companies need to just focus on their products and not worry about what UC Berkeley grads are complaining about being racist or some other ist.
remember the Chik-Fil-A boycott because the owners are Christians. LOL that backfired bigly.

IDT the QB thing is a bad sign. You can actually view it in a more positive light. They want to win now while continuing to build and think a seasoned QB can help do that. It doesn't mean they can't bring guys along-- it may just take more time to get some guys to their potential. CJH has a clear idea of what he's looking for and what it's going to take to get the offense rolling. The quickest way to do that is the quickest way to win.

I don't agree with this at all but I'll remain silent for now unless and until it backfires, which if it does, there's not a soul in hell that will be able to shut me up. jmo.

This staff and this admin have their own way of doing things. They're going to do what they're going to do, and it will either work or it won't. UT dug a very deep hole and climbing out of it is going to be challenging. The more players we lose and the less depth we have, the more challenging it'll be.

If you missed Saturday's open practice, there's a chance UT will try again. Some aren't in favor, but others feel the rain and late scheduling hurt attendance. Fans weren't really the focus, but still, turnout was less than expected.

Tough to get out of the house by 7AM on a Saturday from Chattanooga. Then the chance of rain made it completely out of the question.

Don't talk to me. I'm trying to remain silent. :)

On QB-- looking for experience, leadership and quick decision-making plus multiple years of eligibility. The younger guys we have need seasoning and development, which they didn't get with the last staff. They're back to working on fundamentals. So bringing in someone more game-ready would be insurance while they continue to develop the guys we have.
Soooo, he doesn't not like the QB room. Just confirming what we all already knew. Our QB room got zero development under the previous staff. That does make a lot of sense.

LOL at the people all over your first post because it seemed to fit their narrative.

Let's see what the transfer portal looks like comes mid-May after Spring ball is done around the country and see what shakes out. I'd imagine there will be some decent options appear in the portal.
Yea I agree with that, especially with someone from that OSU QB room losing the job and probably opting to transfer. I think Heupel should wait until after spring ball tho, not just grab someone now because he thinks they might need them

And that's the crux of the dilemma. UT needs to get fans excited about football... but admin doesn't want to underscore how many are not. If UT promotes a fan event and fans don't respond, then UT has called attention to the issue. But being in Neyland has always been the best way to build support.
Winning would cure the problem. Problem with that is, who knows when that will start happening again?

The man was 63 when he died.. Assuming one woman per day, 20,000 women would mean, at a minimum, he would've had to had sex every day for 54.79 years.... 😂🤣😂

he probably had 3 or 4 at once some nights, giving him much needed days off.
