IDT they'll waste a spot. If they can't get what-- and who-- they're looking for, I doubt they'll take a flyer. And the guys we have can make great strides by fall. But new staff, new offense-- not everyone's going to be the best fit.

Perception or things your hearing about the way this staff operates compared to others. Attention to detail? Accountability? Practice Structure? Good or bad? All the things that go into running a football complex.

I feel for the kids and families. So much tragedy around there lately. A law enforcement friend told me the officer was shot in a leg. Serving a warrant on a student - but that is unofficial.

I question it as well. He may not have the full story - he was headed to the hospital as he is a close friend of the officer.

FWIW - the officer that was shot is well known in the AE community and a pastor. He was shot by a senior student in the leg and it hit his femur. He returned fire and took the student down. He is or will be in surgery as the damage was extensive to his leg. He is alert and in good spirits as the news is reporting because my friend told me some of the things he said while visiting. Pray for the whole situation. It has to stop.
