If they want to play in the fall, they have until May 1st to hit the portal. The window closes after May 1 for immediate eligibility. We need him. But players acting like they can pick and choose what to do or opt in and out at will seldom works out. The sooner all those that are thinking about leaving get both feet in or out the door, the better.
Looks like you need to feed him more![]()
Great post. One caveat I have is that you will confuse many people when you bring factual information that isn't just someone's opinion being stated as fact.David Blackburn is a proven AD and Danny White isn't? The same Danny White who hired Lance Leiplod (37-33), Scott Frost (19-7), and Josh Heupel (28-8) in football. The same Danny White who hired Bobby Hurley (42-20), Nate Oats (96-43), and Johnny Dawkins (94-60) in basketball. Idk what Blackburn's hiring record looks like, but if it looked anything like White's he wouldn't be at MTSU or wherever he is. All records are the coaches' records at the place where White hired them. Outside of hiring, White is an elite fundraiser. UCF fundraised approximately 6 million in 2012. In 2020, they fundraised 35 million.
Biggest disappointment. He has the best measurable of anyone on our DL and is arguably the most athletic. Dude is completely wasting it.Middleton has been in school for a long time. He debated coming back for an extra year. He was close to HT and QC, and all three were unhappy about the way things went down with Pruitt and the former staff. He seemed all-in, then started skipping things. QC did that for a while, too.
This is awesome! These are the drives by QB for the spring game. I’ve scored the drives according to the defense that was on the field. Vince Ferrara provided the matchups. If the QB faced the #1 defense then all scoring is normal, i.e., a TD is 7 pts and a FG is 3 pts. If the QB faced the #2 defense, a TD was only worth 5 pts and if the QB faced the #3 defense a TD was only worth 3 pts. It didn’t matter which offense was on the field.
Orange shading is for the #1 units, Yellow for #2 units, and pink for #3 units.
It looks like Bailey was the only QB who had a TD drive with the #2 offense against the #1 defense. Of course Hooker did have a TD in the same matchup but it was a pick six so probably not really what we’re looking for. jmo.
Bailey had 3 drives with the #1 offense, Hooker had 2 and Brian had 1. Brian had 3 drives with the #2 offense, Hooker had 2 and Bailey had 1. Brian had 2 drives with the #3 offense, and Hooker, Bailey, and Spencer each had 1.
Brian had 6 total drives. Bailey and Hooker had 5 each and Spencer had 1.
It’s almost like Heupel was trying to make Bailey look good but given that he only faced the #1 defense once and that with the #2 offense for a TD drive, Heupel may have also been trying to not make the #1 defense look too bad. jmo.
If Vince’s data is right, I’m not sure how we discount Bailey’s performance. I’m working on it but so far the only thing I have is some opinions. The folks looking at the data suggest that the Kid’s performance was real. jmo.
