I guess beggars can’t be choosers but his career stats at USC aren’t very impressive to say the least. Looks like he was a backup his entire time there and it’s not like USC is stacked on defense.

He’s a defensive tackle and they’ve produced some solid ones the last few years

Wasn't Malik Jackson in a similar situation before transferring to Tennessee?

Yes. Second team DE that got some snaps, but was not utilized much. UT was a good spot for him. Now has a SB ring to go with a Pro Bowl appearance and been in the league going on 10 years.

This is well done by FSU. This is the type of content we need to be putting out.

We need about six. Six out of 22. They are out there and many of them have not gotten the chance to play meaningful snaps like so many on this roster. Because of the new rules that are in place, coaching changes and the general thinking around college football at this point the players are moving, like it or not. Just about six good solid transfer football players is all we really need to make a huge difference in this team.
