UGAs recruiting class the past

2021- 4th nationally
2020- 1st
2019- 2nd
2018- 1st
2017- 3rd
2016- 6th

They had 9 guys drafted in this years draft and 14 guys drafted combined the previous two drafts.


UGA has built in advantages that 98% of other college teams do not.

They’re the primary school in an insanely talent rich state.

And they’ve feasted on a weak SEC East.

Their annual west rival - Auburn - has been woefully inconsistent - thus AU fans always wanting and finally getting Gus canned.

They’ve had golden opportunities to win a NC.

They got smoked by LSU two years ago. By UF last year.

But UGA has lost the last six games to Alabama.

In that time - Clemson has found a way to beat Alabama twice. LSU has. But not Kirby.

Kirby has an embarrassment of riches of talent at his disposal. But he can’t seem to find a way to win it all.

So yes - all that considered - it’s comical that they’ve not found a way to win a Championship yet.

Hell, they’ve only made the playoff once with a ridiculous amount of talent. And they’ll miss it again this season

Really? You don't think MJ was faster, quicker, and more balanced? He also had a higher vertical. Also, look up Lebron's Sprite commercial where he's acting as if he's a baseball pitcher. Definitely can't throw a baseball very well. Only thing he has on MJ is size

Hope we never see that day, but we're already seeing some things we thought we'd never see.

Lebron could do anything MJ could physically while being 60 pounds heavier.

MJ is the GOAT Bballer
Lebron is the greatest athlete of all time in any sport. Size, speed, power and athleticism are off the charts. Also IMO the second best BBaller of all time.
Kobe is the greatest competitor and most savage.

Wilt was a better athelete than Le Bron... Wilt was an absolute freak of nature...

You know I actually think Lebron being the specimen he is actually hurt/set him back a bit. No doubt he's great, but early in his career it just seemed like he was big and fast and that was that. Spent the better part of his early career having to learn all the things MJ and Kobe seemed to have worked on prior to entering the league (especially MJ).

Lebron was one of the best passers in the game the second he entered the league. He was never a score first player like MJ/ Kobe were, yet still managed 25+ppg every year after his rookie season.

UGA has lost the last six games to Alabama.

In that time - Clemson has found a way to beat Alabama twice. LSU has. But not Kirby.

No doubt that Alabama has been and will continue to be a tough game for Georgia. They're talented at nearly every position every year and their 2021 class may have been the best yet. I don't envy Tennessee having them as a permanent cross division game, for sure.

That said, I personally haven't felt like Kirby's teams have underperformed in their three Alabama losses, because Bama has been the better team in those games. This year was ugly, but I suspected that would be the case because of UGA's quarterback situation if nothing else. Stetson Bennett is a gamer, but his physical limitations are hard to overcome, and he was playing with a splint on this throwing hand. And our secondary had a couple of weak links that could hold up okay against most college teams, but I knew that wasn't likely against Waddle and Smith, a great OL, and a really good QB. Hopefully Georgia's new DB coach is good at his job, because the secondary looks like a potential liability again in 2021.
