Female, Dan Mullen looks like she's been coaching girls HS softball for 26 years and also acts as the drivers Ed teacher and the only female PE teacher. She's won the faculty hotdog eating contest every year since it started, nine years ago.

I had a PE teacher in elementary school that to this day I'm still not sure if it was a man or a woman.

That's not even accurate.

8-6 in the last 14, and have only lost 11 total on the season. And Vandy being the only in conference opponent to win a series is pretty impressive.

Man - you really have to stretch your noggin's Nega-Vol capacity to come up with something trite to say about how things are going with the Diamond Vols. With some decent umping and without a few pen meltdowns this bunch may have only lost 3-4 SEC games all season. 35-11 and 15-7 in the toughest conference in college ball is getting it done no matter how the finish the season. My hope is the team just continues to do what they have done all season and have fun. Inspiring bunch.

Yeah BaseVols winning 40+ is always a win in my book. Get to the CWS and make some noise there when it matters most.

I wish they hadn't dropped that series to Indiana State, but that's how it goes early in a season sometimes.

Fun to watch. You are right that I think in 4 of the SEC losses, they gave up multi-run leads. But that happens when you play other good teams.

Hate to get this stirred up again, but I just watched an old episode of Conan with wilt chamberlain as the guest. Out of his own mouth, he said that he benched around 600 lbs, slept with over 20,000 women, and would water ski at 125mph.. oh just saw another one.. he said he was attacked by a mountain lion in Arizona and killed it with his bare hands

Also to hear Wilt (in that same Conan interview) talk about how Michael wouldn't have worked during that time...

Wasn't this the same era of basketball when guys like Jack Twyman, Elgin Baylor, Oscar Robertson, Paul Arizin, Jerry West, Richie Guerin, Hal Greer were also pushing to lead the league in scoring... MJ would have ABSOLUTELY dominated the 60s/70s era of basketball more so than he did the 80s/90s era.
