I used to go swimming in our heated pool on the warmer winter days (7Oish or higher) when I lived in T-Bay...but not in unheated water when it's 60 or less...you and your kids are nuts..

Once you go numb, you hardly notice the hypothermia kicking in.

Coming from someone who swore the oath and wore the uniform in defense of the Constitution for 20 years, please remember that today is about those who gave everything to protect and defend our way of life and not all veterans. Please take a moment to solemnly commemorate them in the fashion you see fit. Like many other vets I'm sure, I have several friends I'll be remembering today. As for thanking the rest of us, we have our day in November. Thank you and God Bless.

Wright St, Duke, Liberty. Don't see a top 25 team in there. Nor does Vandy face a top 25 team.

But #1 Arkansas has #20 Nebraska and #2 Texas has #21 Arizona St.

Can someone explain this? Obviously one is the AP poll and the other is the NCAA, RPI or whatever ranking. But this seems like a big gap. Never followed it before. Shouldn't the #1 team be theoretically facing the ~#32 team?

Remember that the Big10 only played conference games this year...so no OOC games at all. Big 10 is probably on the same level as ACC...not very good. Nebraska is all smoke and mirrors.

Reminds me of an old Billy Connelly story he told in a stand up show where he talked about going on beach trips with his family as a child in his native Scotland...he called them "Pale blue Scottish people"

We use to get this paper at UT ...... I use to read it all the time and they had a love doctor that wrote in...... she claimed all a guy needs is three inches to satisfy any women..... I use to always joke that I had a black line drawn around myself bc I wasn’t going to waste that extra half inch.

It's completely dead from a competitive standpoint. Same exact sh** every year. Remove Alabama/Clemson/Georgia/Ohio State/Oklahoma from the equation then it would be a whole lot of fun. Everyone plays for 5th place because top 4 is pre determined.

Expanding the playoffs won't even do anything. It goes deeper than that. Huge changes are needed. Just have to hope viewership drops dramatically so something will be done.

Guess who protects each one of those you listed? Yep, the media, AA and the conferences. Money. It's always about the money. Add in ND and those are the programs who are protected. Every once in a while you get LSU, UF or a PAC team that gets into the equation.

The long game to change says yes to playoff expansion so the recruits can see other programs of interest and over time it could dilute the draw of the programs above. The other aspect is regime change at the conference level, which means all the other programs in each conference getting the shaft have to band together and not go along to get along just to get the big payday. How do you think Vitello took the diamond Vols to a #3 seed, by being Mr. Niceguy and going along with the good ole boys? He does not care about whose toes he steps on to have a winning program. More of that, please.
