us this weekend
Sigh....

Alexa play "You're going to miss this" by Trace Adkins

Man..that sucks..sorry for your loss. How old was she? My cat Snuffy is 11 and still doing great, but I dread the inevitable. We just got a new little kitten from a rescue to help keep him active.
She would have been 5 on July 1st. We lost her sister a couple of years ago to leukemia. Both were born within a week of my dad's passing. Bought them when they were just a few months old. My mom had always wanted a Persian, and when I met the lady selling them, she just had the two left, so I took them. They helped my mom (and me) through a tough time after losing my dad. Gave us something else to focus on. Not to mention I was in the midst of fighting cirrhosis myself, on my way to my eventual liver transplant. It made them mean that much more. They made a dent in all that hurt we were going through.

Sorry buddy

Here's how I view a 12 team playoff - it virtually guarantees that teams like Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, etc will be in the playoff every year - go back an look at the last time any of these schools finished outside the top 12 in the rankings.

It also should allow for other teams to rotate through and have a chance in the playoff. The big question is: can any of those teams beat the Alabama, Clemson, Ohio States of the world. If not the proposal won't solve the competition problem that CFB has.
At the very least, it gives the next tier of teams a fighting chance to displace the top 5-6 teams that monopolize the playoffs currently. It should help to distribute the talent a bit better too, although it will probably take five years to see that effect taking place

Even, or especially, the bloodthirsty killing variety.

Have 2 18 year old cats that we dropper fed from about a week old, that I will cry like a baby when they pass. The orange male acts more like a dog than a cat. Runs to the door to greet me, won't shut up until I acknowledge him, sleeps at the foot of my bed, stands beside me while getting ready in the morning, lays on the coach beside me watching TV. Will leave a massive hole is my existence when he's gone. Love dogs too, but that's my boy.

Sounds like a great buddy to have.

I am more of a dog person myself, but we have had our cat since right before my middle daughter was born. Almost 14 years now. She is most definitely a cat. She like pets and sitting with you on the coach but only on her terms. She has a knack for throwing up in the hall or doorways at around 3 in the morning so that if you hear her you have a hard time going back to sleep after cleaning it up and if you don't hear her you will likely step in it when you do get up. She has so much personality and the kids think she looks at us as the peasants that she has been saddled with to take care of her needs. She is a part of our family and we love her very much.
