The deer population now in mid tn is getting out of hand. TWRA needs to raise the limit and there needs to be a way to get more people, both young and older, interested in deer and turkey hunting. With all the expanding constuction of homes, industrial developments, etc in our area, there are way less rabbit and quail to hunt imo. Grew up eating a ton of both and miss those times. And I also miss all the trips frog gigging as well. Had many a fine frog leg feast back in the day. Hence why I am Gigger!

Vet just called. My cat went into cardiac arrest and passed away. Sometimes life sucks.

Weezer, I am sorry for your loss. We have lost 2 dogs and a cat over the last 18 months. They were 20, 15, & 15 years old. They are part of the family. It’s devastating when a creature that loves you unconditionally passes.

Dogs have owners. Cats have staff. This is the way.

My boy isn't really catty in the slightest. Really gives me the best of both worlds. Orange tabbies are frequently tempered like that. Almost always male and very chill. The cats for people who don't like cats.

True cat lovers love them in part for their idiosyncrasies. With this guy there really are none.

He will sit down and meow pitifully until someone finds him and brings him back inside.
He is a friend to everyone. Comes when he is called. He plays with all of our other cats and dogs. Great guy!

Yeah, our tabby is a handsome lover. Not too smart though. The solid black female has thumbs and can open dang near any door. Frighteningly smart. We're pretty sure she plans the death of our other animals...daily.
