I use to be a pretty decent gambler at one time…… won 20,000 one time….. 13-15,000 a couple times…… typically 5-10,000 by the end of my gambling season…. I gambled online overseas…. The govt at the time wasn’t allowed to tax any winnings so they were mad and trying to change laws…… I was just wondering what the tax laws were for stuff like fanduel if I decided to do it again.

They send a 1099 to you if you cash anything out above a total of $600. Can leave any amount in the account but once you cash out a total in a year of $600, they send you and the IRS the 1099.

Who’s “they” ? Show population of an endangered species over a decade or two decades. If population of said species has doubled then you may have an argument. Doubt that you can.

I’m not a hunter so I’m not as interested as trying to find that information but I do love to read…. Since trophy hunting has been introduced….. the animals that are eligible to hunt has seen growth of a few thousand or more.

Several reasons were given for this:

1. Money helps in conservation and to help fight poaching…. Someone paid 400,000 last year to hunt a black rhino
2. The money also gives incentives for land owners to allow the animals to roam free on their land….. they tag the animals eligible to be hunted(not sure what that means exactly)….. Previously land owners wanted the animals gone bc they were eating the crops that the land owners to make money on.

The National Geographic articles seems to state that they are helping in conservation of these animals…. Poachers and loss of land is the real enemy in these animals survival.

Never mind. Found this in the baseball forum.

Every time the bases are loaded, they bring out the beer hats. You’re just seeing beer mug hats. It’s just a trend that just kind of appeared out of nowhere and never disappeared. Now those who don’t have hats simply hold their drinks over their heads. Lol

When Packer first came to town in the early 90's and was channel 10's weekend/backup sports guy to Keslng, he used to ref adult basketball at Christenberry Rec and softball at Rock City. He T'd me up once and told me to quit crying. Then when this guy had a breakaway, he saw me coming from the blindsided and told me, "Don't do it", thinking I was going to smack the backboard, I didn't, I threw it almost in the stands, but he did call me for my 1st of 2 goaltending calls in my life. It was goaltending, I blocked it after it hit the backboard. He was kinda cool after that, although he later called me out after my longest HR, ever at Rock City, it might have landed on James White Pkwy. But the field was so small, each team was only allowed one HR, mine was the 2nd. Still, he did say, "That blast was worth it". So, Packer ain't an Ubben-level douche, imo. All right guy, most of the time.
Btw, Packer could shoot the 3, back then, of course he was shooting 'em against air, but had a pretty shot
