I thought he didn't make it when they put up the covers. Makes your heart ache.
Yup, entire swaths of the country are going to stop caring eventually. A southeast monopoly is not good for the sport at all.Charles Davis was on with Doug Matthews this morning. Davis said that if you want to see the growth and populatity of a sport, you can tell by the amount of teams that have a chance to win a championship continues to grow.
I guess college football is going in the opposite direction.................
If you insist…just kidding, but the expansion of man is destroying all the beauty of this world. We can’t eat fish because of all the countries that dump tons of mercury and other dangerous chemicals into the ocean. We are losing the Amazon rainforest to make room for cattle… wildlife habitats are being destroyed to make room for more strip malls and houses. One of the amazing things to me is all of the countries that dumped the toxic substances into the ocean are countries that have for centuries used Fish as a Main staying for pro team… It makes no sense whatsoever. In our own country, destroying parts of Alaska just for gas for cars. At some point it’s going to need to stop.Kill all humans...amirite?
I’m not a hunter so I’m not as interested as trying to find that information but I do love to read…. Since trophy hunting has been introduced….. the animals that are eligible to hunt has seen growth of a few thousand or more.
Several reasons were given for this:
1. Money helps in conservation and to help fight poaching…. Someone paid 400,000 last year to hunt a black rhino
2. The money also gives incentives for land owners to allow the animals to roam free on their land….. they tag the animals eligible to be hunted(not sure what that means exactly)….. Previously land owners wanted the animals gone bc they were eating the crops that the land owners to make money on.
The National Geographic articles seems to state that they are helping in conservation of these animals…. Poachers and loss of land is the real enemy in these animals survival.

I don’t have any nice solutions. But the problem is absolutely too many humans. As a species, we are definitely headed towards the future seeing in mini science fiction books where the human race will end if we don’t find other habitable planets.
Large scale conventional warfare, plagues, pandemics, famine, etc. have limited human population in the past. We now may be too smart for our own good, and yet not smart enough…
