Boats are a blast. But expensive. You have to have a place to stay at the lake. Driving down for day trips, isn't fun ..
I had a 24 foot pontoon that I slipped at Sneaky Petes on Lake Louisville. I paid $250 month for the slip but all I had to do was just show up at the lake and go. I could take 16 people out on the lake and we always had a blast but no one wanted to help me clean it up at the end of the day. It also cut pretty deep into my golf game :):). In the end, golf won out and I sold the boat and have not been on a lake since I got rid of it.

Ours really isn't bad. $250 a year and we have a pretty nice neighborhood pool and playground. They pretty well leave you alone unless you are just a complete jackwad. I put a lot of effort into my yard and the houses that always get YOTM are yards that have lawn services. It's like watching Alabama win the NC every year. Yeah, they bought another one.
guy who flipped out house ripped out all vegetation. in yard were two silver maples with cross weights sawed off, 30 year old juniper bush, and an oak tree stump. Few smaller bushes too. We've redone every single bed, and area of interest. 🤦🏼‍♂️

It's taken me 7 years and hundreds of dollars. I knew as soon as I broke handle on an oak handled maddock it was gonna be a bitch.

Growing up my Grandad and then Mom were always into gardening/landscaping. Recall playing under Magnolia tree that made the best forts. First thing I did when pulled out that Juniper was planted Magnolia for kiddos.

Still havent gotten to the grass care. Weed and feed is about as much as I care.
