Interesting. This is our 5th trip to Omaha, which (under the current format anyway) is effectively the Elite 8 of baseball. We’ve played for one baseball national title (in 1951).

We’ve only been to one Elite 8 in basketball and have never made a final four… but I think of us as much more of a basketball school than baseball school.

Oh well.

Let’s win it all and give ourselves more to ponder.
