Not a fan of Socrates I take it?

Do you have the same beliefs now as when you were 10, 20, 30? Might it be reasonable to assume that your beliefs will continue to shift throughout your life? As long as one is open to their own fallibility and ignorance?

Her core strength is incredible. One of her dance instructors had her class do a plank contest. They were disqualified if they didn’t hold perfect form. Instructor was out at 10 minutes. He ended it with my daughter at 17.5 minutes and she still hadn’t broken a sweat yet.

That's awesome. My son planks for a few hours every day! We refer to it as nap time. 🤪 Unfortunately the other kids don't take a plank anymore.

You should be proud.

And no I am not a fan...just like every other "smarter than everybody else" genius he said just as much dumb **** as the rest of us.

I am actually scared to say this (scared Dad), but I need some VN prayers. We are on vacation and my 16 year old daughter started having a GI bleed. She has been in the ICU since Sunday afternoon. She is stable now, but GI bleeds can get bad really fast. She has required a transfusion. So far all tests have been “normal“, that actually scares me more… since she is in the ICU, only one parent can stay with her. My wife is a Pediatrician, so she is staying with my daughter.
Hopefully she can have her colonoscopy done this evening, couldn’t complete it yesterday due to the blood in her colon.
If I could ask for your prayers that my daughter will be okay and that the medical staff can figure out the cause and fix it soon. I would greatly appreciate it.

OMG, Doc! I just saw this (pulling a Doc and catching up late) and wanted to let you know we're definitely thinking of you and yours. Thoughts and prayers for all of you. I don't know what I would do if I was forced to be away but your daughter is already in great hands.

He was quite the opposite. That was his whole point...accepting his human ignorance and fallibility. He railed against the people that claimed to understand everything.

"I know only one thing–that I know nothing". A simple, beautiful concept imo. The more you really delve into subjects, the more you realize how little you actually know.

Another Butch guy that deserved a lot more. Dude just made plays and big catches, like JJ, but was stuck with a bum offense.
