No offense but I honestly don’t think you understand how broken the justice system is in America…

I don’t care about him having weed or the justice system. It has nothing to do with that. This kid supposedly wants to be a big time professional athlete and make money from his own personal image and so far his actions do not reflect that at all.

With Salter it is all harmless stuff, but it is a troubling pattern at this point. He probably needs the structure and UT needs his athletic ability. As long as it isn’t anything violent and remains victimless we should work with him, IMO.

Get his ass up at 5am and run him until he pukes…then keep running him. Maybe it will sink in.

Well it’s his alma mater for one. if Godwin signs, he’s out. Only reason Vitello is still in for LSU is because he refuses to sign our offer. So.

Not very good for the freshman. He’s already on probation with the office of student conduct. A violation of that probation could be a suspension from school for the year.

We will see what Heupel does but Salter has put his career at Tennessee in jeopardy because of his actions

You want to start a list of coaches who rejected this level of program to stay at their lower level alma mater? If he DOESN’T sign this hastily slapped together prayer, what say you then? If ECU’s safe, where’s the fire? BOARD OF TRUSTEES means more than you’re admitting. Fait accompli gets done with an AD endorsement. I know you need this to happen but I think you need to prepare yourself for the disappointment of Vitello staying.

Chris Low stated on 104.5 today that he believes there is a 75% chance Vitello is back. Believes he will listen to LSU but wants to remain in Knoxville. According to another caller Johnson from Arizona will end up at LSU.

Within the people I spoke to in Omaha, the Vandy advantage is a very popular topic. Everyone knows it and hates it. If you take 10 football scholarships away and give to baseball, it would be a little more equitable.

It's not a fair playing ground. Every school should be playing by the same rules.
Unless it was Tennessee of course.

I hate it for Salter and his family. When given the opportunity to possibly change his and his families life in a positive way, so many fall into the trap of having been told they were "Special" for so long they believe it and never take the time to see what the ones that are special do to be that way. Their are a lot of great athletes working in warehouse's all over the country because they never could except being special is a commitment and not a given.

p.s. Just edited to say I know from experience. Believe it or not back in the day I was one of them.
