Apparently the players were partying pretty late into the night in Omaha. Wouldn’t expect much

I would seriously doubt this has any truth to it at all. Those guys didn't work their azzes off this year to go out partying in Omaha, NE. They went to compete. That doesn't even make sense.

Fwiw he wasn't arrested. Charged and released. Very minor offenses.
would have to check but last time i did, acc to TCA marijuana possession is arrestable in TN. Citation notwithstanding. It's an arrest and punishable by up to 11 mo and 29 days in slammer.

where I come from that's woodshed material.

Wait...our players, who kicked ass all year...living in and around Knoxville TN. Made decision (willingly) to go to Nebraska to kill brain cells?

Logically. A + B = Z.

Has anyone here ever been to or met anyone from Nebraska? They leave, for a reason.

When most exciting thing you see is a bull takin' a dump in front of a dust devil, you need to find more to do.

Vinnie Cervino - Perfect Game - said it’s a safe bet TV is back with UT next season on Full Ride. Not that it means anything but I think the feeling nationally is he’s back.

I’ve only hinted at it, but I honestly think TV is more interested in LSU than vice versa. My guess is they would prefer someone with a longer resume and, for lack of a better word, more “blue blood,” than Tony.

I believe a lot the noise about offers/interest from LSU is agent-driven. But you never know, I suppose.

They all stay together as well….. I don’t TV allowed them to stay out like that.

I understand. I was just pointing out that we have a lot of idiots that post here. That's all.
And for the record, I was an idiot in college myself. That is a you and the man in the mirror moment that we all have to face in our lives.

I got suspended from the team at one point, my coach went to bat for me, and I sure as hell wasn’t letting him down after that. That’s the difference IMO.

This is kind of my point. As stupid as I was, and on wayyyy heavier and more illegal substances.. I still managed to avoid the cops throughout that era of my life. Even in being stupid, you can still be smart.

Some of our "fans" are going to be absolutely devastated to see Tony Vitello wearing orange next year. My deepest sympathies to them in this dark time.

Except, that Salter got suspended. Huepel probably already went to bat for him. Now he is out and getting caught with weed only a few months later. I don't personally care about the weed debate. The fact remains it is currently illegal and he isn't supposed to have it. I don't want to just abandon the kid but he doesn't seem to be taking his opportunity seriously. Punishment needs to hurt but apparently missing the entirety of Spring Practice didn't hurt enough. I don't know what the solution is but if I'm Huepel I am making it abundantly clear that he better walk the line.

I think you’ll be the one who’s crushed if he leaves. Either I’m right or pleasantly proven wrong.

Nah, if you actually paid attention I said there was always the possibility he could leave. I'm just not letting Tiger Droppings and LSU fan podcasts get me worked up. Until Hubbs, Rucker, or someone of merit gives me cause for concern, there is nothing to worry about. Even Kendall Rogers said a week ago he felt confident Vitello was going to be back with Tennessee. Literally nothing has changed except some anonymous LSU posters stir up BS online.
