So a little late night insomnia, thought I'd take a look at the recruiting sites. Now I'm depressed. On paper, our recruiting is going to be bad. Really bad. Just gotta hope these coaches can coach them up. Even if we surprise people this year, I don't think we see many, if any, flips. I think on field success will be more impactful for the next class.

It also feels like we're not trying to self-generate or get the ball rolling the way we have with previous coaches. Instead, it's more like we've turtled up and are hoping the NCAA will forget about us as long as we stay in our room. That makes me worry that Coach H may not be much of a recruiter. That's ok if we hire one *but* I'm not sure that we're in a position to get a legit one until more is known about what really happened and what the consequences might be. Good recruiters bend the rules to the breaking point and not many are willing to risk getting themselves into trouble by putting themselves directly into the NCAA's headlights.
