That's really impressive. Comparing that with football is depressing. I get it's not apples to apples with the minor leagues, etc., but still - seems strange we can flip our long-dormant baseball program around much more quickly than football with significantly fewer scholarships in what is arguably a tougher baseball than football conference...

...ok, after collecting myself, I choose to believe that means football can be flipped much quicker than we think/fear!

So, getting back to football, if we get Horton, is that it for WRs, or do we look to add Pope as well? I assume we'll take one more RB if we get a good one, will we look for another TE as well? And what about the OL? Will we look for more OTs, or will we stop if we get Nichols?

I just wonder how many slots we'll use to address defense, or if we'll look for portal guys again next year to fill those holes?

4 wide receivers
Sampson is only RB unless James or Hayden
Another RB would have to be big time game changer

According to VQ, we’re prepared to take all 4 WRs. Done at RB unless Branson Robinson or Dallan Hayden want in. Heupel values TEs so one more is wanted. Haven’t heard any other OL names past Nichols.

We lose a lot on defense after this season, especially on the line. I'm just curious how they'll address it? I can definitely see us working the portal heavy to fill in those holes.

Plus it would give him more practical practice for his retirement plan. 🏴‍☠️

Tremblay, Bumphus, Butler and Blakely. Phillips and Sneed (so far) join Terry, Simmons, Thomas, McNeil, Bailey. I’m not even counting the Leo position Tyler Baron, Byron Young, Roman Harrison and Morven Joseph are included in those numbers. We’ll most likely utilize the portal but not as heavily imo.

It’s cool seeing Matt Olsen hitting big time with the As now. I saw him a few times when he was a Nashville Sound and he stood out then. Seems like a good dude too.
